Itinerary

8 Days Tour From Marrakech

Day 1:Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your 8 Days Tour from Marrakech begins in Marrakech as you leave the city behind and ascend into the High Atlas Mountains. The road winds through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of mountain peaks and remote Berber villages. After crossing the pass, you arrive at the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village made of earth and clay that has stood for centuries and served as the backdrop for many famous films.

After exploring the kasbah, continue toward Ouarzazate and drive through the fragrant Rose Valley before reaching Boumalne Dades. The evening is spent surrounded by dramatic rock formations and quiet mountain scenery.

Day 2:Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

Travel through changing landscapes toward the Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls rise above a crystal-clear river. Take time to walk between the cliffs and enjoy the cool mountain air. The route continues through Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara, before reaching Merzouga.

Here, camels await to take you deep into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets over the sand, the desert transforms into a sea of gold. The night is spent in a traditional desert camp with dinner, Berber music, and a sky filled with stars.

Day 3:Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes

Wake early to witness sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful and unforgettable moment. After breakfast, leave the desert and head north through Erfoud and Errachidia. The road follows the lush Ziz Valley, where palm groves stretch along the riverbanks.

After a stop in Midelt, continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests near Azrou where Barbary macaques roam freely. The journey continues through Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, before arriving in Fes in the evening.

Day 4:Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

Travel north through the scenic Rif Mountains, passing small villages and rolling hills. By afternoon, arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. Tucked into the mountains, this peaceful town invites relaxed exploration through its blue-washed streets, small squares, and local artisan shops. Overnight in a charming riad.

Day 5:Chefchaouen – Tétouan – Tangier

Depart Chefchaouen and drive through the Rif region to Tetouan, a city with strong Andalusian influence and a beautiful historic medina. Continue toward Tangier, a city shaped by centuries of international history and its unique position between Africa and Europe. Arrive in the afternoon with time to explore the city, enjoy coastal views, and experience its lively atmosphere. Overnight in Tangier.

Day 6:Tangier – Coastal Road – Asilah

Leave Tangier and follow the Atlantic coastline to Asilah, a small town known for its whitewashed walls, murals, and artistic spirit. Walk along the ramparts overlooking the ocean, explore the medina, and enjoy the relaxed seaside ambiance. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace before overnight in Asilah.

Day 7:Asilah – Rabat

Continue south toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Set along the Atlantic Ocean and the Bouregreg River, Rabat combines historical depth with modern elegance. Visit key landmarks including the Hassan Tower and explore areas that reflect the city’s Islamic and colonial heritage. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 8:Rabat – Casablanca

The final day takes you along the coast to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, dramatically positioned over the Atlantic Ocean.
